Well, we have been at home working out longer then I think any of us could have imagined. Working out at home can present a lot of challenges. Especially if you are working out with children around.

Here are 3 ways you can improve your at home workouts.
1. Set up the night before

When people use to say, lay out your clothes the night before I would laugh at them. But now, I do that. I also pick my workout, write it down, or have it pulled up on my computer, ready to go. If I have to think about what I am going to do, with my kids around it’s not going to work. So I set up the equipment, the workout, and even my music so that I am ready to go.

2. Short and Sweet

I know you love your hour long group class at your local gym, but you might need to cut that in half. You can still get an awesome workout in 20-30 mins and not hate your family for interrupting you every 10 seconds.

3. Try something different

Have you been following that awesome fitness coach across the country for years and wished you could do her classes. Well do it. Most trainers and programs are still giving out a lot of free workouts or doing zoom workouts. Give it a try and enjoy something new!
